Annual Concert for LIFE ~ Marian Shrine ~ Saturday December 17, 2022 @ 1:30pm

The annual Concert for Life is on this year, and will be held at the Marian Shrine at Stony Point on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 1:30 PM 

The concert benefits the Good Counsel Home in Spring Valley which provides a home for women during their pregnancy and for the first year or so after their baby is born. They receive education and training in life skills (parenting, employment, nutrition, health, etc.) so they learn how to be independent and care for themselves and their children. At Good Counsel they are given spiritual care, compassion, and respect.

We hope to see many of you there. It is very enjoyable!

Praying for the Election

These mid-term elections are critical for the pro-life effort in this post-Dobbs world. Your vote matters. Here in New York, we will elect those who make decisions on critical issues such as assisted suicide and the future of pro-life pregnancy centers.  

On behalf of the USCCB, Archbishop Lori’s has called out President Biden‘s commitment to codify a national right to abortion after the election: “The President is gravely wrong to continue to seek every possible avenue to facilitate abortion, instead of using his power to increase support and care to mothers in challenging situations…” (read the rest of the statement)

Please also keep in prayer important elections throughout the country.

Several states have important abortion related constitutional amendments on the ballot for Nov 8. Check out this site for an updated map of the latest abortion restrictions throughout the US post-Dobbs.

New York State RTL has a new tool to help you find pro-life candidates

Announcing a powerful new tool that gives you the names (and districts) of endorsed pro-life candidates in your area!
 
Simply go to www.nysrtlpac.org and type in your address (that’s short for New York State Right to Life PAC).  The page that pops up will tell you who, if anyone, is endorsed by New York State Right to Life in your district – both for state and federal races.
