Planned Parenthood Sets Record for Abortions

Jan. 22 — Remember the Victims of 40 Years of Legalized Abortion

Jan 22 2012There will be prayer all day outside Planned Parenthood in Spring Valley in observance of the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion America. The victims have been 55 million babies — as well as wounded parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and all of us in society.

McCloskey Knights Celebrate Christmas with Charity and Good Will

The John Cardinal McCloskey Council, No. 4565, of the Knights of Columbus presented Christmas checks to several local organizations at their December social meeting held at St. Francis of Assisi School in West Nyack on Dec. 17.

Among the recipients of the Knights’ generosity were the Rockland Right to LIfe Committee, Birthright of Rockland, Good Counsel Homes, the Sisters of LIfe, Jawonio, Camp Venture, and archdiocesan seminarians.

Knights of Columbus’ Philanthropy Benefits Local Prolife Groups

Charity is first and foremost for the Knights of Columbus, and at their annual Christmas Party, Triune Council 2052 presented checks to several organizations. Among them were Rockland prolife goups Birthright of Rockland, Good Counsel Homes, the Rockland Catholic Coalition, and the Rockland Right to Life Committee.

The party was held on Dec. 10 at Toner Hall at St. Margaret’s Parish in Pearl River.
