  • Sept. 16 — Video #10. In this video a Planned Parenthood official admits that PP has no national compensation guidelines to allow its affiliates to decide whether their tissue donation policy will be “mission-based” of if they want to “engage in remuneration.” Click here.

I’m sure you know why the 40 Days for Life people ask you to pray for the providers at Planned Parenthood. Yes, it’s because they work for America’s largest abortion provider. And it’s because they are the ones who advance  PP’s campaign to undermine our children’s morality.

But this video will reveal a side of Planned Parenthood you may not be aware of, and how a familiarity with abortion can turn a human being into a monster, blind to the coldness and horror of dismembering the tiny body of an unborn human child.

In this undercover video, you’ll see Planned Parenthood Senior Medical Director Dr. Deborah Nucatola coolly discussing the giant abortion corporation’s side business  of providing aborted baby body parts to buyers from the medical research industry.

The conversation took place at a restaurant over wine and lunch. Actors posing as potential buyers elicited Dr. Nucatola’s comments on the economics of selling fetal tissue and the legality of the business, usually handled by the local PP affiliates since the national headquarters’ own corporate counsel doesn’t want to touch it.

And listen to what she says about altering the abortion procedure to obtain specific organs requested, i.e., moving the fetus to a breech position so the most desirable organs — little hearts and livers — don’t get damaged during the process. It sounds a lot like  partial-birth abortion, doesn’t it?  A crime in this country!

Horrendous. Pray for Nucatola — and all of them at Planned Parenthood.

Late-Term Abortion: Do You Know Where They Stand?

candidatesgraphicMost interesting article!  A round-up of where all announced and likely-to-announce 2016 presidential candidates stand on late-term abortion legislation like the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. National Right to Life News Today puts it all together for you herein the candidates’ own words whenever possible.

U.S. Senate to Introduce Bill Banning Abortion After 20 Weeks

UPDATE:  THE BILL WAS INTRODUCED ON JUNE 11. See statement from National Right to Life President Carol Tobias here. Hopefully, it will come up for a vote in the Senate in the autumn.

In the wake of similar legislation which passed the U.S. House of Representatives on May 13, the Senate plans to introduce a bill this week to extend protection to unborn children who are at least 20 weeks beyond fertilization.

The bill, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, is being introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and the National Right to Life Committee is urging other senators to sign on as co-sponsors.

In a letter sent to all senators on June 1, the National RTL Committee wrote: It is now commonplace to read about evidence that, by 20 weeks fetal age and even earlier, an unborn child responds to many forms of stimuli, including music and the mother’s voice. Claims that the same child is nevertheless insensible to the violence done to her body during an abortion should engender strong skepticism. Abortions at this stage are performed using a variety of techniques, but most often by a method in which the unborn child’s arms and legs are twisted off by brute manual force, using a long stainless steel clamping tool. A medical illustration of this common method is posted here. This bill will save thousands of lives annually.

While opponents of the ban on late-term abortions say the procedure is rare, there are 275 facilities in America that offer abortions past 20 weeks.

Wednesday: Historic Vote to Ban Painful, Late Abortions

UnbornPain050815On Wednesday, May 13, the U.S. House of Representatives will take up a landmark pro-life bill that, if enacted, will save thousands of unborn children each year from a painful death.

The bill, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, would protect unborn children from abortion, beginning at 20 weeks – nationwide.   By this point in development (and indeed even earlier), the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain during an abortion.  This federal bill was developed on the basis of model legislation developed by National Right to Life, which has been enacted so far in 11 states.

Please email, call, or write to Nita Lowey, who represents Rockland in the House of Representatives. Ask her to please vote for H.R36, Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

You can briefly cite one of the reasons from “Fetal Pain: The Evidence,” from the Doctors on Fetal Pain website.

Kansas Gov. Signs Law Banning Dismemberment Abortions

ThankyouBrownbackre

This morning Gov. Sam Brownback of Kansas signed into law a bill banning abortions in which the unborn child is dismembered. The new law was based on model legislation drafted by the National Right to Life Committee. It’s being considered in other states as well. Like partial-birth abortion ban, the Kansas law will make it clear to the American people how brutal abortion is. The ensuing debate could have the power to transform the landscape of abortion policy in the U.S. Read more about it here.

Forgiveness

Guest blogger Sean Miller

“Abortion compounds the grief of many women who now carry with them deep physical and spiritual wounds after succumbing to the pressures of a secular culture which devalues God’s gift of sexuality and the right to life of the unborn.”
— Pope Francis, April 25, at a meeting with African bishops.

The grief and pain of abortion’s aftermath have devastated the lives of many men and women, who feel they have nowhere to turn.

Guest blogger Sean Miller asks us to help them find their way to the forgiveness and healing of God.

Forgiveness

How horrible it must feel to be forgotten!

How many women are hurting from abortion and feel they have nobody to talk to about their hurt? How many men struggle with their lost fatherhood as they try to handle their own hurt alone? And even couples, trying to navigate their way through a sea of stormy emotions, may find themselves feeling isolated.

Does the abortion industry concern itself with them at all? The answer is simply, NO! Once they receive their money and perform the abortion they point to the door.

And what happens when a woman leaves after her abortion is truly heart-breaking to witness. More than once I’ve seen women come out of an abortion facility devastated. Some wail. Others take a few steps, only to collapse in despair on the sidewalk.

What I’ve seen will be forever in my mind, stirring a mixture of emotions. The strongest is sorrow for these women. But there’s also a horrible feeling of helplessness inside — and anger grows. This anger asks, “How can the abortionists and other people responsible for this justify themselves?”  Continue reading

The Real War on Women Just Lost a General

NYSRTLNew York State Right to Life Response to the Resignation of the State Commissioner of Health, Nirav Shah

The NYS Right to Life Committee is relieved that the State Commissioner of Health, Nirav Shah, has stepped down in the face of criticism from pro-life groups and from the Republican candidate for Governor, Rob Astorino that the safety of women has been sacrificed to protect the abortion industry.

According to the records obtained by the Chiaroscuro Foundation by a Freedom of Information request, only 17 of the 225 abortion clinics in New York State were inspected over the last 13 years. And the names of the clinics that have been inspected are not available to the public.

The silence from our Governor and other Democratic leaders has been deafening. With few exceptions, like Sen. Diane Savino and Sen. Rev. Ruben Diaz, there has been no sense of outrage from those who claim to be the great defenders of women.   Continue reading
